PDX

A couple of weeks back I went on a little road trip(I always thought this was one word) up to Portland with an old college buddy to visit friends. It was colder than our standard 70 degree southern California weather and the leaves were beginning to change which was a welcome sight.
We were basically on the hunt for the best burger we could find in Portland. I had at least one everyday I was up there. Great idea. It seems that every place that serves burgers in Portland has one with cheese, bacon, and a fried egg. I am not going to lie...I was scared of the egg, but it was pretty amazing. So the best burger we decided was at Slow Bar.
It was probably also the tallest burger I ever had. Last thing on food...if you're ever in Portland do yourself a favor and go to Pine State Biscuits. Get the Reggie Delux...it's fried chicken, an egg, bacon, & cheese topped with gravy of course on a biscuit. Best thing I have eaten in a long long time.
Here are a couple of photos from the trip. At the current moment, Jonathan's on a road trip to Telluride, CO. Look back in a bit for the photos from his trip.

Peanut burger and deep fried mac & cheese. D-U-N...done.

Sweden

I was thinking back on some of the past weddings I have been able to photograph and one of my favorites was flying to Sweden to be part of Elin and Emanuel's wedding in a small country town.  I actually stayed in an old castle where the reception took place and had an amazing experience as my introduction into Swedish culture. Everyone treated me so well and Elin's and Emanuel's families were gracious and generous to me and opened up their homes for my stay. The experience is unforgettable and I wanted to post a few photos from their wedding.  JW

Cristina+Eric's Wedding - Temecula

Yesterday we got to shoot Cristina and Eric's wedding out in Temecula's wine country. The ceremony was held at Cavalry Chapel Bible Fellowship followed by the reception at Cristina's parents house. This is a sample of some of the slideshow photos...you can see the full slideshow here.

Cristina+Eric

I am really excited about the wedding I get to shoot this weekend. I grew up with Cristina in the dugout at our parents' softball games. I have known their family since I was born so it is a real honor to be able to shoot her wedding. Here are a few photos from their engagement session shot earlier this summer (the first one is my favorite). Look back early next week to see some of their wedding photos!

Amber & Justin

We went to the ol' Train Station in San Juan Capistrano and finished the shoot at the San Clemente Pier. We had a great time and had fun using the train and historic area of San Juan Capistrano for some awesome photos.
